"The Midwest Mounted Reenactors did a marvelous job as both Civil War Cavalry Soldiers and Old West Gunfighters at the 2007 Alexandria, MN Heritage Fest. They are total professionals and we thoroughly enjoyed having them take part in our event. If you are looking for a real crowd pleasing addition for your event, we would highly recommend booking them."
Jennifer Schmidt, Alexandria Heritage Fest Coordinator
Dear Midwest Mounted Reenactors:
On behalf of all the members of the Murray County Board of Commissioners and the citizens of Murray County, I would like to thank you for your very generous assistance in our Sesquicentennial Celebration. Murray County turned 150 years old this year and you had a very important role in helping us celebrate this important milestone in our history. This milestone provided us an opportunity to reflect on the many accomplishments of our communities and the hard work our ancestors went through to settle this part of Minnesota. Simple words of thanks just do not seem to sum up the appreciation we have for all of your efforts in making Murray County's Sesquicentennial Celebration such as huge success. We truly could not have pulled it off without your efforts. We have heard nothing but great comments from everyone who attended the cowpoke clinic and the Saturday evening reenactment. People are still sharing favorable comments about your performance, and the press coverage of the event was outstanding. Thank you again for your generous assistance to Murray County's Sesquicentennial Celebration.
Murray County Board of Commissioners, August 7, 2007

"The Midwest Mounted Reenactors were WONDERFUL! I am so glad that we were able to work them in this year and really hope to be able to work with you and Tom again next year.
As Tom knows the arena was a new area for us and we are still trying to work out the people flow, but even with that we had lots of positive comments and 2 out of the 3 shows had quite a few spectators. I will be meeting with my committee in late October or first of November to set the agenda for next year and I will be getting back to you after that. I really hope they agree with me and would like to have the group return next year."
Mary Jo Nelson, Washington County Fair Entertainment Coordinator
The Mounted Reenactors Creed: "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, reins in teeth, .45 Colt in each hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, WHOA---What a Ride!"

“Thanks so much for your units participation in the first Veterans Day Parade in the St. Cloud area for 30 years. We were shocked by the amount of people who registered as participants AND who lined the parade route. All of us were rookies this year in organizing parades, but we learned much and already are talking about what to do to make it better and smoother for future years. Keep the parade in mind for 2008.
Again "Thank You"
Mike McDonald, 2007 Veterans Day Event Coordinator
P.S. I thought the crowd really enjoyed the Civil War Veteran addition to the parade. Thanks so much for stepping forward to do this in honor of those who have given so much.

"Our St Cloud Bridge Fest (July 4th Celebration) spectators were thrilled to see the re-enactor bank robbery and shootout. MMR was superb to work with and were willing to cater to our specific needs. I certainly appreciated their willingness to help with promoting themselves as well as our event. I look forward to working with MMR on other events."
Pegg A.K. Gustafson, Executive Director, St Cloud Downtown Council
"I just wanted to say thanks for your performance in the 4th of July Parade and "Texas Ranger Training Exhibition" you did for us. The Parade crowd loved the interaction of you and your riders. The training exhibition was also a hit. It held folks attention and was educational as well as entertaining. The fact that you took questions from the audience was very much appreciated by the young people who were watching the show. It was a pleasure working with you and the Midwest Mounted Reenactors. You were on time, easy to work with, and were able to flex with the other entertainment to make a seamless production all the way around. We had one of our most successful events thanks to you and your riders."
Tom Schuveiller, President, Minnesota Pioneer Park

"Special thanks to you for your spectacular performance at the Wild West Roundup. You delivered exactly what you promised, 'a wealth of humor, education, and authenticity' to our event. The portrayal of a Civil War Army Captain running with saber and pistols was exciting and informative. You worked perfectly with the New Ulm Battery portraying a cavalry soldier in the Civil War and the subsequent Dakota Conflict of 1862. Your choice of demonstrations and your performance was a great crowd pleaser. Everyone at the Wild West Roundup is looking forward to having you back each year."
Jody Greenslade, Wild West Roundup Event Coordinator
